Return and Go Seek: Film Screening and Workshop

Check out my film Return and Go Seek, which explores the rich history of BedStuy from the lens of Sankofa-the Ghanian Akan word meaning it is not taboo to fetch what is at risk of being left behind.  Come view the film, ask questions, and participate in a workshop exploring ways you can take a Sankofic look at your own neighbordhood and history.  The film is part of the Grand Rising 2021 Summer Solstice Summit that goes from 5am-5pm.  Check out all the amazingness that day.

Grand Rising 2021 Summer Solstice Summit  is a day-long celebration of  indigenous ancestral practices that have allowed communities of color to experience collective healing during times of injustice.
